Sorry, seems I was too fast. Today KPackageKit died when it should do two minor upgrades. I did an apt-get update/upgrade right after I received the notification in KDE, before starting KPackageKit itself. Apt said:
... The following packages will be upgraded: linux-libc-dev upstart 2 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. Need to get 1,254kB of archives. After this operation, 4,096B of additional disk space will be used. ... I aborted and went to upgrade with KPackageKit, which died right after "Getting Dependencies". Syslog shows one line about that: Dec 11 09:32:01 mc2 PackageKit: WARNING: Recursive dependencies are not implemented -- KPackageKit crashing on Karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/453798 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kpackagekit in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
