I've got WRT54GL with Tomato, so I see quality values (differ by a const from 
dBm). So I was able to compare power levels. My numbers on Windows:
TX Power Level----------Router quality level
Auto----------13-17
25%----------8-11
50%----------17-21
75%----------23-26
100%----------28-31

This is your driver:
1116----------0-11
1211----------10-13

Definitely better! The connection is much more stable now. Is it
possible to set manual power settings?
