Scott, thanks for your patch! It looks good so I have applied it to the Lucid dev branch. I also changed the exec line to use "shutdown" instead of "/sbin/shutdown" since that is what shows in Karmic and Lucid now.
Finally, please don't change the status to Fix Committed when you post a patch on a bug, that is not a valid bug status for this - see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Status . Use Confirmed or Triaged instead. Now that the patch is committed to the bzr branch the Fix Committed status is correct. We look forward to getting more patches from you.
