weird. the two or three times i've been able to reproduce thois was always from a freshly installed netbook install, and the always did updates, and then customised things.
I've fixed the issue, but still dont what cause it in the first place. I feel like im chasing ghosts here. I fixed it by deleting the .gconf, the .gconfd and the .gnome2 folders in my home folder. Perhaps a weird permissions issue? I dont know. Here is a list of some programs i installed that were not default on the netbook edition. Checkgmail gparted remote destop viewer (vinagre?) i also removed most of the evolution packages. After doing that i would always activate ubuntuone and then i would notice the problems. maybe vinagre changed it, i dont know. At least i have a way to fix it without reinstalling now. -- ubuntu one makes startup applications be ignored https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/492997 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
