Hello, wireless card stopped working, it keeps connecting over and over
to networks but never really connects (the network is wep encrypted).

Here is something that I think is relevant:

I noticed that there was a similar bug for this card but that one involved WPA 
whereas this one involves everything!

I installed WICD but that didn't change anything.

Not sure what to do at this point.
