LOL. Since when is satisfying packaging dependencies a "wish"? The bottom line is that rhythmbox('s context pane) is broken without python- mako and it even complains so on the stdout/stderr.
I guess if having working packages is (only) a wish, this is a wishlist item, but at that rate, then i guess the entire of Ubuntu Linux being a functional distribution becomes a wishlist item then doesn't it? So with that being the benchmark, isn't pretty much every bug filed against Ubuntu Linux a wishlist item? FWIW: In the amount of time it took to triage this bug and make it a wishlist, you probably could have added the single "python-mako" to the Depends of rhythmbox and been done with it. That's all I did here in my (re-)build. -- requires python-mako https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/498816 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
