Just to add my 2 cents...  I was seeing this error and got here because
I was having problems booting after I'd intentionally degraded an array
to replace a disk in it.  It was this error that got me here.

After reading through this I tried the idea mentioned to disable the
floppy drive that was enabled in the BIOS but not connected to the
motherboard and now I no longer have this error.

For those who are interested the reason why I wasn't booting was because
my mother board (Asus P5K Pro) doesn't have the primary master / primary
slave on SATA ports 1 and 2.  They are 1 and 3.  So /dev/sdc was
actually the Secondary Master drive like one would assume but the
secondary master drive is plugged into SATA port 2.  Thus I get to
restore my array onto that drive (will take about 3 days) and then I can
start intentionally degrading the proper drive.  Ug!

Anyway thanks to those here for telling me how to remove this error
(which really wasn't a bug at all).
