You could trivially confirm whether this is an Ubuntu patch by picking the mainline kernel which the Ubuntu kernel you have is based on. Your full Ubuntu kernel version can be found with 'cat /proc/version_signature', and you can map that to a mainline kernel version via the table at the URL below: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/info/kernel-version-map.html So if you have 2.6.31-16.51 then you would want to test with mainline 2.6.31.4. As before the mainline kernel can be found at the URL below: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/MainlineBuilds Please do report any testing you do back here, please include full version numbers for both kernels and indicate how you did your testing. -apw -- Slow SATA performance https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/119730 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
