I'm sorry I was not able to answer until now.


I created a new ubuntu user and started evolution on it, configuring the
same gmail account i use under my user.
This is what I'm using now and I have no problem at all to type the
"lowercase o" see: ooooooo  !

I'm using English (USA) locale and a "Generic 105-key (Intl) PC"
keyboard model, with a "USA Alternative international (former us_intl)"
layout.

How can I "delete" and recreate my evolution user profile under my
regular user name? -- Looks like this is a valid workaround.

Is it possible to provide more information for a root cause to be
identified? - i'm most willing to help :-)
