- No driver appears in SYSTEM/ADMINISTRATION/HARDWARE DRIVERS but it looks like 
there is a driver b44.
- The wireless was working fine until power up yesterday.
- The same router is working on wired connection without any changes.
- There does not seem to be a key combination which disables WIFI in Ubuntu, I 
tried Fn-F1 to Fn F12 just in case there was a bios switch but no luck and it's 
enabled in bios.
- I feel a bit reluctant to make any changes because it WAS working just a 
moment ago - but it seems a new learning curve is waiting. all suggestions 
gratefully recieved.
