** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: pulseaudio

  Hi,

In previous Ubuntu version (I don't remenber the version number, maybe
7.04) there was an option in System > Preferences > Sound to
  enable/disable bell sound.

Now if I would like to disable this bell sound, I need to change
bell_duration value to 0 in gconf
  (/desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/bell_duration).

I think this isn't user friendly, I've another newbies friend with this
issue and he could not change this option.

  Regards,
  Stephane
