Much the same as first post. I've tried disabling all power saving functions with ltd success. wifi signal strength always drops down to just 1 or 2 bars (from the full 4 bar strength) and then after minutes or hours (length of time fluctuates), cuts out or freezes the laptop completely (using 64bit Karmic).
