I see the same problem, and I'm not behind a proxy of any sort. It looks
like the downloader is timing out too soon. Here's the full output:

dpkg: error processing ttf-mscorefonts-installer (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 ttf-mscorefonts-installer
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Now, all those hostnames do successfully resolve, so I'm pretty sure
that the error is being incorrectly reported.

Is there a workaround whereby I can manually download the packages and
have the installer know about them? Firefox has no problem getting them
(at least, I could download andale32.exe manually easily enough - I
don't know what else is required).
