Happens on Ubuntu Karmic 9.10. I'm using msn-pecan, I'm assuming g_list_append() is in the 'core' and not affected by a plugin. Not using AIM account, using Jabber and MSN (msn-pecan).
I was in a Jabber chat and had to close twice the window as well. A few minutes later Pidgin crashed.
