Hi again, Having just tried, I can confirm that I can boot my T30 into Karmic, running the 2.6.31-14-generic kernel, from a live CD - it doesn't manage to correctly detect the on-board wireless card capabilities (WPA/WPA2), but it does boot to run level 3.
