I should say I'm running a Quad-Core Intel Q6600 Also with 2GB RAM, on a Gigabyte P35-DS4 (rev1.0), With 4 Ntfs partitions & Linux split between 2 500gb drives. It all worked fine when i first installed ubuntu.
