also have the same problem. with FF 3.5.3. Yesterday i sent linux to hibernate itself, with firefox open. (and yesterday everything worked fine), today ubuntu woke up, and no sound from firefox + flash. But it has sound at everything else (mediaplayer, vlc...) i've tried to restart ffox and ubuntu as well, tried to remove and reinstall the flash plugin... but i can hear only the sound of silence.
