Ok I purged it, it connected, it synced properly.
I renamed the notes. It gives me a #fail. again.
And it also seems Ubuntu One Web Interface is having problems *renaming* notes.
But I'm cool with it. Really.
What is irritating and mind-blowind as hell, however, is having apt-get to
purge tomboy, and when reinstalling it, finding ALL your notes and config
there. Wait a sec... When I say purge, I really mean I'm over with it, and I
want to start over again. What's wrong with apt-get, for Eris sake?? I had to
hunt down Tomboy directories http://live.gnome.org/Tomboy/Directories and 'rm
-r' them manually. Should I file another bug?

Everytime I try to sync tomboy notes it gives me an error. Since I'm
