Sometimes menu items can be quite tucked away in the menus. Try going up
to the top taskbar and click on

Applications - Accessories - Terminal

and onto the command-line type

googleearth

Sometimes starting an application/program from the command-line can be
easier than hunting through menus. Also you might try right-clicking the
Applications menu to see if the Google Earth box just hasnt been ticked.
This would give you the chance to re-arrange your menu's too but i would
keep them as standard as possible in the early days.

I just want to be sure that you have already worked through the Medibuntu
worksheet before installing GoogleEarth

Good luck and regards from
Tom :)
