Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntu-wallpapers
According to http://www.flickr.com/photos/digital_junkie/3703411842/ (the flickr page for the Climbing.jpg image), it was taken by "digital.junkie / Davin Andrie" and is licensed under CC-BY-2.0.
