I'm having this problem with 9.04, using a Canon i860 printer. I can't
get either inkblot or Qink to recognize the printer. I've added my user
to the lp group, and that did not help. How is Mtink supposed to help?
As far as I can tell, it is for Epson printers only -- so anyone with a
Canon or other printer supported by libinklevel is out of luck. If I
misunderstand MTink, please correct me -- otherwise I think closing this
bug as "invalid" is just bizarre -- first off, it is clearly a bug,
secondly, that fact that some program works for some printer doesn't
help users that don't have that printer. "Go buy yourself a new
printer" is not an acceptable workaround.
