Kernel seems not involved. I have tried the configuration through http://localhost:631/admin and cups doesn't recognize backend as /dev/lp0. Only Samba or bluetooth printer could be enabled. So I think it is a cups problem. I attach the file /var/log/cups/error.log with full debug information.
