Although the current package has a similar patch already applied, it is
broken (at least on my machine: HP TC4200 Tablet PC). When rotating the
screen, the "eraser" device loses its calibration. The upstream patch
works fine.

I've taken out the previous (non-working) patch and put in the upstream patch
(that works) as downloaded from
http://xournal.sourceforge.net/linuxwacom-0.7.0-rotate-patch.
Unfortunately, since the patches are combined in one monolithic patch, it took
some work to get it together, but I've built the package and it's working fine
on my system right now. I've attached the files I've used.

Although I would prefer to update the linuxwacom tools to the latest
version (0.7.6-4), I'm not experienced enough with debian packages to do
so (this is my first time building a debian package). So, please at
least update this package to include the better rotation patch.

Regards,

Andrew
