When I try to create a new database, connecting via a user that does not have createdb rights, I see the error dialog that says "Glom could not create the new database. Maybe you do not have the necessary access rights. Please contact your system administrator."
(plus I see this on stdout: " Frame_Glom::create_database(): Gnome::Gda::Connection::create_database(glom_test) failed. " ) I don't understand why you don't see this error dialog.
