Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.5
This problem appears after an upgrade to karmic. On the server machine, there is no problem. But when connected on the server through NoMachine's NX (thus under a full X session), the bug occurs. When clicking on the menu or on a panel icon, firefox will not appear, even if a process starts. But when starting it from a terminal, it works (and complains about some extensions missing, see the logfile). NX versions: * nxserver 3.3.0-22 * nxnode 3.3.0-17 * nxclient 3.3.0-6 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Jan 16 10:53:40 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: firefox-3.5 3.5.7+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.10.1 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-17.54-generic SourcePackage: firefox-3.5 Uname: Linux 2.6.31-17-generic i686 ** Affects: firefox-3.5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- firefox does'nt start from the menu, when run in an NX sessions https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/508329 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
