Public bug reported: Binary package hint: software-center
Hi, After I install software from the ubuntu-software center, it doesn't say where to go to start it. I have to manually scan all my applications to look for it. Software Center should say how to start it: "This application can be started from Applications -> Accessories -> VirtualBox blah" Thanks, Mike ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Sat Jan 16 11:01:46 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: software-center 1.0.2 PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-17.54-generic SourcePackage: software-center Uname: Linux 2.6.31-17-generic x86_64 ** Affects: software-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- after installing a package, no hint on how to start https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/508492 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
