+ broadcasts, especially I cut out promotion.

  I am missing this feature:

  1) I would like to insert a blank three second section (preferably blue
screen) and after that five to ten seconds a scheme that gives this
  information.

Here is a example (imagine black, blue or green screen with white or yellow
letters ;-)):

  2) Moreover, at the end of a film there should be a five to ten seconds
section with a blank screen before video ends.

I know there are some workarounds to get this. Some propose to create
two graphic files with Gimp (for a blank screen and for a record scheme
each) and then insert them into Avidemux. But doing this is very
complicated and costs very much of time. And I suppose that 95% of
Avidemux' users aren't able to do that. And 4,5% won't do this because
it costs time too much. All in all: This proposed workaround is for most
  users useless.
