** Description changed: I have Asus F3F-AP058 laptop (I think it's only type description for Czech Republic ) with Intel 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio. - On 26th February 2007 I installed (after about one month) available actualizations for my Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy. So far my whole soundsystem worked well (correct internal speakers/headphones,Skype calls also worked well). But since this day I have no sound from internal speakers anymore:-( Headphones jack is working. Other strange thing is, that the red LED in headphone jack started to glow!!! I saw this first time I have my notebook. The LED now glows only in LINUX, in WIN Xp not, but internal speakers aren't working in both operating systems (but they have worked in both so far, so it looks like last Ubuntu actualization made reconfigured my audioharware little bit ). Skype isn't working since this day too (call is connected, but it seems no sound in and no sound out). I'm not sure if Alsa made this problem. A little while ago I realized that mic jack is working well (with utility glscope) and what is more interesting, in one moment when I'm plugging in my headphones, the internal headphones crack and plays the correct sound out for about 0,1 sec.
