Please pardon me because I have little idea about the suspending and hibernating mechanism of Linux. I have tried /etc/acpi/sleep.sh and pm- suspend scripts or commands, but in the command line interface neither of these commands yield any messages, so now I'm totally bewildered... Can anyone enlighten me about what kind of problem within the infrastructure of Kubuntu could cause this?
