Bug affects me too, but the following workaround is successful (as mentioned several times above): 1. disable ipv6 by adding "net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1" to /etc/sysctl.conf 2. change all localhost lines to 127.0.0.1 in the /etc/privoxy/config file 3. reboot
