I appreciate this sounds somewhat random, but then so it the fault! My system only seems to do this spontaneous shutdown when I'm running the Terminal Server Client. I have this installed as part of the standard Ubuntu install, and it reports version 0.150.
Note also, also though the description of the bug is 'Jaunty Upgrade...'
