Same issue on eeepc 1201 (ION) karmic with updated kernel 2.6.33-020633rc4-generic. ( I hoped it would help in some way). I get ACPI: I/O resource nForce2_smbus [0x4e00-0x4e3f] conflicts with ACPI region SM00 [0x4e00-0x4e3f]
