Public bug reported: Binary package hint: busybox
When booting Ubuntu (Karmic), the system will fall into the initramfs prompt if it cannot mount the root volume. This is normal. But it would be very convenient to be able to repair a file system with fsck. Busybox does support the fsck applet, but it is not included on Ubuntu. Can this be improved ? ** Affects: busybox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: boot repair wishlist -- busybox: should have the "fsck" applet https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/512349 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
