Some people are saying the bug is not having a dropdown list and others are saying it's a bug with the text highlighting however, it would appear there one bug relating to that setting in about:config rather than two separate bugs. It's been happening since day 1 of Jaunty and exists in Ubuntu 32, Ubuntu 64 and every version of Firefox I've tried (except it does not appear in the Windows variants).
