Same problem here with a dell d620 laptop and nvidia binary driver. ooo fails to start, wine fails to start, 3d apps fail to start.
e.g. #glxinfo name of display: :0.0 glxinfo: xcb_xlib.c:50: xcb_xlib_unlock: Assertion `c->xlib.lock' failed.
