Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kmail
I have several "archive" IMAP folders, called "INBOX.archive.2008", "INBOX.archive.2009", etc. There is no "INBOX.archive" folder. When KMail checks my mail, I get an error popup containing a server error "INBOX.archive does not exist or needs to be subscribed to". I would expect KMail to only query IMAP folders that exist. The server-side subscription dialog box correctly shows that the "archive" folder cannot be subscribed to. However, KMail still insists on accessing that folder when checking for new mail, or when I click on it. I've attached a screenshot of the dialog box.
