Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

There is a problem with the task bar title text for gnome-terminal under
certain circumstances:

Under the "Title and Command" tab in profile settings for gnome-terminal
there is a setting: "When terminal commands set their own titles:"

Setting this to "Keep initial title" gives the expected result---at
first. As soon as the command *does* set its own title, such as bash
does after each command, the setting is overridden and acts as if the
setting was set to "Replace initial title".

Note that in the actual window, the setting is correctly keeping the
initial title, but not in the task bar.

Running Ubuntu 9.10,
gnome-terminal 2.28.1-0ubuntu1
