Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
For user on clean 9.10 Ubuntu, in gnome, (user settings - /home/ was imported from older, 9.04 or 8.10 Ubuntu), sometimes after desktop loads the panels are empty- most of the icons and applets and menus (even main menu) are missing. It happens at random.
