Public bug reported: When logging into XP guest on vmware 7.0 an smb (3.4.0) process spawns on the x86_64 Karmic Koala. This process begins to require more and more of the 4gb memory available. I currently must use vmware file sharing and shut down Samba to keep from crashing the Linux system.
