There is a key in gconf to control this behavior, /apps/nautilus/preferences/always_use_location_entry. I unchecked it on mine (buttons instead of text in put) and could change back to text input with CTRL+L, but couldn't go back to the buttons with CTRL+L. Also, changing to text input with CTRL+L has no effect on the gconf settings, so it will default back to the previous setting when restarted.
In my opinion, it's not so much a bug as an aesthetic annoyance. ;) However, it would be nice to at least have a setting in Preferences. -- Button to switch between breadcrums and addressline not available https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/515878 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
