hi ! i have the same problem, i'm using the daily-live amd46 lucid desktop iso (that i am booting via grub2) here are the last lines of my /var/log/syslog : Feb 6 01:37:55 ubuntu ubiquity[12571]: switched to page summary Feb 6 01:38:21 ubuntu ubiquity[12571]: debconffilter_done: ubiquity.components.summary (current: ubiquity.components.summary) Feb 6 01:38:21 ubuntu ubiquity[12571]: Step_before = stepReady Feb 6 01:38:21 ubuntu ubiquity[12571]: progress_loop() Feb 6 01:38:21 ubuntu kernel: [ 500.847290] ubiquity[12571]: segfault at 7f64b29e3840 ip 00007f64c63d1d64 sp 00007fff67769140 error 4 in libglib-2.0.so.0.2302.0[7f64c6392000+c9000] the time is UTC+1 (from Paris) ask me for more informations if you need to. the crash happens at the last window of ubiquity, when there is the summary, i click on the button to start the install, and ubiquity just closes (segfault).
