Thank you for responding so quickly. The memory settings you currently
have for OpenOffice are the defaults and should not be the source of the
problem. However, the issue is most likely due to a setting on your
system and not a bug with OpenOffice. As a result, I will be switching
this into a question which will be posted on the Answers section of
Launchpad (https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu). You should be able to
receive more help from there. I will subscribe to your question so if
this does turn out to be a bug with OpenOffice, we can then take the
proper measures to make sure it is reported.
