As far as I can tell, the gtkdocize tool generates a makefile that
doesn't work right from a build directory. The way it's all set up, if
you run the configure in the source directory, then cd into libudev/docs
and run make there, you'll get correct documentation files... but only
if you don't modify the gtk-doc.make with the sed statement in the
debian/rules 'prep' target. After that, a make distclean will actually
leave those generated documents where they are. For what it's worth, I'd
add an extra step to the build to have it do that just to get them
right. I'll see if I can write a patch for it.
