I strongly suspect that this is an issue with the kernel, rather than with JACK, because my Focusrite Saffire LE works fine with JACK (although I didn't start testing it until 9.04). I use the ffado rather than freebob. Could you retest, with more recent software, and if it still doesn't work, provide a set of instructions that might let me reproduce the issue?
