same symptom using Karmic. The laptop was sitting in screenlock mode for several hours. When I entered my password, I noticed networkmanager was asking me for the WEP key for a connection that has been working fine before. thinking it was strange to be prompted all of a sudden, I closed the dialog box and clicked the network-manager-applet, where my hidden ssid was listed. I clicked on it and got in just fine.
I did not expect to be prompted for the WEP key since it was already in the system. Attached is the output of `cat daemon.log | grep -i networkmanager`. The time I noticed the pop-up was Feb 11 20:52. ** Attachment added: "daemon.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/39083941/daemon.log -- [Hardy] NetworkManager keeps prompting for new encryption key when AP disappears. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/220190 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
