hey there, With the latest snapshot I pushed to lucid, I exited firefox with twenty tabs or so open and ran: valgrind -v --tool=memcheck --leak-check=full --num-callers=40 --db-attach=yes /usr/lib/firefox-3.6/firefox
and it resumed all the tabs (even upgraded some extensions); when I exited again, valgrind told me: ==19899== LEAK SUMMARY: ==19899== definitely lost: 0 bytes in 0 blocks ==19899== indirectly lost: 0 bytes in 0 blocks ==19899== possibly lost: 0 bytes in 0 blocks ==19899== still reachable: 2,557 bytes in 81 blocks ==19899== suppressed: 0 bytes in 0 blocks ==19899== Reachable blocks (those to which a pointer was found) are not shown. ==19899== To see them, rerun with: --leak-check=full --show-reachable=yes ==19899== ==19899== ERROR SUMMARY: 0 errors from 0 contexts (suppressed: 4 from 4) --19899-- --19899-- used_suppression: 2 dl-hack3-cond-1 --19899-- used_suppression: 2 glibc-2.5.x-on-SUSE-10.2-(PPC)-2a ==19899== ==19899== ERROR SUMMARY: 0 errors from 0 contexts (suppressed: 4 from 4) This seems too good to be true!
