The source for this package appears to be the ubuntu-desktop package.
The following packages are installed/removed with the ubuntu-desktop
package. It should remove the menu entry at the same time it removes the
documentation. Of course, the packages are not limited to the ones
listed, but include all languages.
$ apt-file search about-ubuntu
