Public bug reported: Binary package hint: indicator-sound
Currently the volume slider works in this way: - click inside the slider = increase/decrease the volume by a notch. - click on the icon at left = mute - click on the icon at right = full volume The classic volume slider (gnome-volume-control) wortks in other ways: - click inside the slider = move the slider at the point you clicked - click on the icon at left = nothing - click on the icon at right = nothing I'm not a fan of the click on icon = nothing, but that's how the main audio program in gnome works. Especially I wuold prefer that clicking on icons will increase/decrease by a notch ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Fri Feb 19 10:37:17 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: indicator-sound 0.1.1-0ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-13.18-generic SourcePackage: indicator-sound Uname: Linux 2.6.32-13-generic x86_64 ** Affects: indicator-sound (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug lucid -- change how the volume slider works to reflect gnome-volume-control https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/524311 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
