This happened to me too. Postfix is listed as a new install in Update Manager. When I started installing the updates the configuration dialog popped up asking about "General type of mail configuration". I wasn't sure why postfix was needed so I pressed cancel and the script didn't handle that. lsb-core depends on postfix so I imagine it's necessary for something. Maybe all that's needed is to change the dialog box to tell the user that on a normal desktop system they should choose "Local only".
