Hi All!

Just an update to my above messages dating back to November 2009.

Yesterday I finally decided to upgrade my wife's Fujitsu (details above)
to Ubuntu 9.10 - thought that this problem with Intel 4965 and 5GHz
wireless-N would have been already fixed. Unfortunately not!

However now it seems that this problem is now probably fixed in Kernel
2.6.32. Does anyone know when it will be available thru Synaptic Packet
Manager? So far I'll have to use the Fujitsu in G-network. (creating a
bottle neck to Internet connection)

Cheers!
Jukka

PS: Short recap of the setup:
WLAN Access Point: Cisco Linksys WRT610n with two SSIDs (one G-network 2,4GHz
and one N-network 5GHz)
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Si2636 with Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN REV=0x4
- Jaunty: G 2,4GHz: OK / N 5GHz OK
- Karmic: G 2,5GHz: OK / N 5GHz Inoperable (STILL!)
Sony Vaio VGN-Z21WN with Intel Wireless WiFi Link 5100AGN REV=0x54
- Jaunty: G 2,4GHz: OK / N 5GHz OK
- Karmic: G 2,5GHz: OK / N 5GHz OK
